We recently had the wonderful opportunity to partner with the Comal County Sheriff’s Office to conduct free hearing screenings.
Our team of hearing experts visited the Sheriff’s office to provide necessary education and hearing evaluations for multiple individuals across different departments of the office.
By providing these essential services, we hope to enhance the auditory well-being of our community members and ensure that everyone, from children to officers, remains informed about their hearing health.
The Importance of Community Engagement
Our team is so committed to promoting the importance of hearing health that we now have a dedicated screening team. This team goes out into the community and screens both hearing and vision to further promote strong hearing and vision health to everyone across New Braunfels and beyond.
Over 70 Comal County employees were tested during our screening event; some were surprised, some were relieved, but all walked away with a baseline test and a better understanding of their hearing status.
Community events like these are about more than just offering hearing assessments; they represent a larger mission of promoting hearing wellness and informing you and other members of the New Braunfels community about the resources available to you.
Through these interactions, we aim to dispel myths about hearing care, answer any questions you may have, and provide actionable strategies to safeguard your hearing.
