For this month’s Love Local shoutout, I’d like to talk about how much I love Guadalupe Brewing Company. It is so much more than a place that brews beer: it is a hidden gem.
So Much to Love
You may not even notice Guadalupe Brewing Company when you drive by, but let me tell you, it’s worth a visit.
Indoors and outdoors – This locale is mainly an outdoor venue with some indoor seating.
Atmosphere – The atmosphere is laid back and relaxed.
Food – They have food. I hear their pizzas are delish, but I haven’t had one yet. I went on a Sunday, and they had sold out of the pizza supply they’d thought was enough for the whole weekend in 4 hours! Nice problem to have.
Music – There is a stage where live music plays Friday through Sunday.
Dogs – Almost everyone takes their dog.
We took Hear-O and he loved it.
You get to meet a lot of people when there are dogs involved.
One group of women said this place was almost like a dog park but better because there is beer, food, and music!
Beer – Did I mention they brew beer? They have a variety of options, and if you aren’t sure which is for you, you can get a sample. I’m not a beer drinker, but they have mead. It’s delicious! At first, it seems like you’re just drinking grape juice then all of a sudden, whoa! It’s definitely something to sip on slowly.
This place is great!
