In 2022, we started our annual giveaway Hear for the Holidays, a chance for one deserving individual in our New Braunfels community to receive complimentary hearing care that they couldn’t previously access.
The holidays can be such a fun and heartwarming time, but for those with untreated hearing loss, large gatherings of people and loud noise can be overwhelming and often isolating.
We want to help as many people as possible achieve stronger hearing outcomes, and this giveaway gives us the chance to help our lucky winner, who previously couldn’t access the hearing care they needed.
Your nominations this year were all so heartfelt, and seeing the care that our community has for each other was the reason for the festive season. It was difficult to pick just one winner!
Our 2024 Winner Is… Eugene Bujnoch!
Eugene’s daughter-in-law, Shelley, nominated him for Hear for the Holidays. She mentioned his kindness and resilience, and how he always puts others’ needs ahead of his own—a perfect winner in our eyes!
His hearing aid fitting was on December 13, and he was very grateful and surprised to hear he was our winner. Eugene received a full comprehensive hearing evaluation and left the appointment with his own prescription hearing aids, programmed to his specific needs.
Providing our neighbors with the gift of better hearing is a privilege we’re so grateful to have, and Eugene is one of many people in New Braunfels who could benefit from comprehensive hearing care led by audiologists.
