Time for a Love Local shoutout, and, this month, I’m raving about Alex Meixner and his band – winner of the New Braunfels Herald Zeitung Reader’s Choice Best Local Live Band/Musician of 2022.
What kind of music do they play? Polka and fun! Not what you would expect from a band whose highlight is accordion playing.
These folks sure know how to put on a show. They get an A++ for crowd involvement and getting everyone on their feet for a good old German prost!
I had never seen a cowbell tune. Who knew cowbells could be so entertaining? I recommend finding out where they will be next. Their show is unique.
Supporting local bands and musicians is so important to me, especially after the past couple of years. I love to go out and chat to people in the community and hear all about what makes them happy.
If you’re a music lover, then you’ll know just how great it is to watch it live. There’s nothing that quite beats hearing the energy of the crowd too.
